“I’m just not a creative person” or “I’m not really creative” 

Are you saying these things to others? We believe some of you probably have. But in reality, everyone can be creative. 

You may often think that creativity is something you either have or you don’t. But the truth is we all have it. It all depends on how we interpret it. Even if you’re working at an office, you’re probably using creativity to make decisions and solve problems. 

1. Draw, doodle or sketch 

According to studies, the more you create art, the more creative you will become. Drawing, doodling, and sketching are all ways to tap into one’s creative side. To make this work for you, you don’t need to be an artist or adept at sketching. Just take a paper and draw something that comes into your mind and it actually can enhance your life by helping you find your creative side.

If running, cycling, or walking is an important part of your daily routine, you may be more creative than your couch potato buddies.

So, aside from dancing, what other kind of workouts can help you boost your creativity? You can jog, practice yoga, or do some aerobic exercises. It will help your body as well as your thoughts. 

3. Listen to music while you work

Listening to music can help you focus on whatever task you’re currently doing. It can also improve your mood and help to calm your nerves if you’re nervous.

People who listen to music while working are in better moods, generate work with fewer errors, and work more efficiently, according to studies. 

Certain types of music can help you channel your creativity and tune out the office distractions better than others. Not only can music help you be more productive, but it can also help you be more creative at work. Ambient music, on the other hand, can aid enhance processing levels and foster creative thinking whereas music with drastic shifts in pace or lyrics can be distracting.

4. Travel 

Making new friends, gaining new experience, and creating new memories are just a few of the many advantages of traveling. However, there is a lesser-known benefit of travel: it boosts creativity! Some experts have discovered a substantial link between travel and creativity in recent studies.

Travel helps you to physically step away from a problem and look at it from a different angle. They are more interested in learning about various cultures and are less judgmental of other people’s lifestyles. A person can become more open and creative as a result of travel, and an open person may be more inspired to travel and conduct creative work.

5. Watch funny contents 

Creativity does not have to be grand, audacious, or life-altering. It can be a little silly, tiny, and foolish at times. The adjectives “humor” and “goofiness” don’t usually spring to mind when we think of creativity and innovation. But, in truth, this is an essential component in cultivating a creative environment.
