The Marketing Coordinator – Digital Events is a role within the Events team that focuses on planning, executing, and measuring the success of digital events such as Virtual Training Days, Immersion Workshops, and locally programmed events. This role has a significant impact on the business by ensuring the smooth operation of digital events and delivering a positive experience for attendees. Here are the key details:

Role Overview:

  • Coordinate and operationalize digital events, including Virtual Training Days, Immersion Workshops, and locally programmed events.
  • Support event platforms, train marketers on these platforms, and ensure smooth event go-lives through dry-runs and technical checks.
  • Explore new ways to enhance digital event delivery and customer experience.
  • Plan event execution, gather content assets, review them with the event owner, and assist in digital video production.
  • Work behind the scenes with the event owner to run events through the appropriate platforms.
  • Confirm delivery of post-event emails and report on event issues.
  • Analyze data and prepare event insights to measure the effectiveness of the event.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Event Consultation: Support various digital events and platforms, train marketers, and ensure smooth event go-lives. Explore ways to enhance digital event delivery and customer experience.
  • Pre-Event: Plan event execution, gather content assets, review them with the event owner, and assist in digital video production. Ensure successful logistics surrounding the event.
  • Event Execution: Work behind the scenes with the event owner to run events through the appropriate platforms.
  • Post-Event: Confirm delivery of post-event emails, report on event issues, and analyze data to measure event effectiveness.

  • Demonstrated understanding of virtual event marketing and associated tools and technologies.

Required Experience:

  • University degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of marketing communications experience (agency or client-side) with a focus on event marketing and virtual events.
