We are looking for a Mid-Level Sitecore QA Analyst who will help test and build high-quality Sitecore
CMS applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the published CMS site is of high quality and with minimal bugs
• Ensure each component is aligned with the project architecture vision and design
• Able to perform basic Content Authoring tasks on the CM server via Experience Editor to test authorability
• Participate in defect triages internally with the Manila team and, if required, with the SLC Technology team
to solve issues & remove blockers
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with partners/customers/business end users/peers
• Escalate risks & issues proactively, including mitigation steps and alternate solutions approaches to
problems identified to the manager
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• 2 to 4+ years of experience testing web applications involving frontend development platforms (HTML5,
Javascript and CSS)
• 2 to 4+ years professional experience in testing a Sitecore site’s functionality and UI
• Experienced different kinds of testing procedures (Component testing, Smoke testing, Sanity testing, etc.)
• Able to adhere to and recommend best practices in creating test plans
• Confidence in authoring components and pages in Sitecore via Experience Editor and can navigate even
without the availability of Experience Editor such as through Content Editor Presentation Details
• Solid understanding of Sitecore Datasources, Templates and Content Items
• Experience navigating through Sitecore CMS and managing item content and components is a must
• Understands concepts of Sitemaps, Redirects, and/or Aliases
• Knowledge in transferring items from one CM server to another
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Able to work across platforms and technologies
• Knowledgeable in testing for mobile responsiveness (Google Chrome Developer Tools, actual devices)
• Experience in using BrowserStack is an advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Documentation skills (JIRA, Confluence) is preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math (or Related
