Talent Manager

  • Transcreation Account Manager:

The Transcreation Account Manager role is a permanent position with a hybrid setup. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage talent within the Language Services team and ensure the successful execution of transcreation projects. The Transcreation Account Manager collaborates closely with in-country talents and internal experts to understand client requirements and deliver an excellent customer experience on each project.

Key Responsibilities:

Client:

  • Understand specific client requirements to recruit the right talent for the account.
  • Recruit freelance creative directors, translators, proofreaders, copywriters, and editors, including testing and evaluation.
  • Maintain an updated freelancer talent database with accurate information.
  • Track freelancers’ performance and address any issues in collaboration with the Transcreation Teams.
  • Support account teams and global offices in talent search.
  • Manage agreements, contracts, and documentation for new freelancers.
  • Address freelancers’ queries and technical issues related to Wordbee and CAT Ops.
  • Handle finance queries from freelancers and escalate major issues when necessary.
  • Organize and store relevant information across accounts and markets.
  • Train employees on the recruitment process and performance monitoring of freelancers.
  • Continuously seek new recruitment sources and improve talent management processes.

Finance:

  • Negotiate freelancers’ rates based on specific account rates or standard rates.
  • Resolve payment issues and maintain sensitive communication with talents.
  • Create reports on key metrics such as talent sourcing, testing and evaluation, recruitment numbers, negotiated rates, talent usage, etc.

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on translation industry trends.
  • Work towards personal development goals agreed upon with the Global Lead.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in international market recruiting.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (near-native level).
  • Demonstrated experience in client/stakeholder communication.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Competent in recruiting on LinkedIn and other recruitment sites.
  • Ideally, experience in recruiting Creative Directors, Copywriters, Translators, and/or Proofreaders worldwide.
  • Familiarity with industry applications such as CMS, Translation Management Systems, and Terminology Management.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Languages, Translation Studies, or a related field.
